"Cheeky Girls" is one of the new pieces just put onto my website and also available to view at my Open Studio. Last few days on until 25th August. 11.00 - 5.00 every day. Furzedown House, Amport, Hants. SP11 8BE.
Had a great weekend at Reading Contemporary Art Fair. My stand was colourful as usual. Thank you to Deborah and Sarah for your hard work and great organisation. Thank you to all the people who came to see me there and the two new buyers who bought the lovely originals of Truly Scrumptious and Birthday Flowers. I hope you enjoy them. It was good to catch up with old artist friends and make some new ones.
Here is the latest addition to the Cityscape Gallery. Capital City 8. Its only a small painting but it certainly makes an impact. Two larger cityscape pieces are progressing well and should be finished in the next couple of weeks. It's good to be back in my studio again. I have just had one of those periods where I just couldn't find my inspiration and I spent many hours looking at a blank white canvas or hated what I produced. Hopefully the phase has passed and normal production will resume!
This weekend has been a stressful one . My e-mail got hacked on Friday just before we set up for Oxford International Art Fair and of course being away from home I couldn't do anything about it ( BT can't help you unless you have a laptop or a computer to hand) I travel with a tablet as I think most people do. Then we had a new art fair to do which was very different from others we have experienced and to top it all although I have now sorted out my email problems, all of the mails sent to me between the 6th and 9th February have been lost. So if you have tried to contact me I didn't receive it. I am sorry but could you please resend me a copy. All is not lost however and the above are two of the paintings that have now gone to a new home.
